1Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information.

Information you provide

The website has no forms and no accounts. The only way to send us information through it is by email. Every page shows our company email address, admin@quidigitallabs.com. Our EloSpeak and company pages also show EloSpeak’s support address, support@elospeakapp.com. Selecting either address opens your own email app, and nothing is sent to us until you send the message.

If you contact or communicate with Qui Digital Labs, by email or by post, the information you provide may include:

• your name;
• email address;
• postal address, if you write to us by post;
• company or organization;
• information contained in correspondence you send to us, including any attachments;
• the details that email services ordinarily add to a message, such as the date and time it was sent and the names and network addresses of the mail servers that handled it; and
• any other information you voluntarily provide.

Messages to admin@quidigitallabs.com and to support@elospeakapp.com are delivered to and stored in our Google Workspace, our email service (section 3), which hosts both addresses. Messages to EloSpeak’s support about EloSpeak are still governed by EloSpeak’s own privacy policy. Your own email provider also handles your message under its own terms.

Our business address is a virtual business address. Postal mail sent to it is received, and may be scanned, by our mail-handling service provider (section 3).

Please do not send us sensitive personal information, such as health information, government identification numbers, financial account details, or passwords. We do not need it to answer you, and email is not a secure channel for it. If you send it anyway, we will use it only to respond to your message.

Information collected automatically

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When you access our website, Netlify’s servers automatically receive limited technical information associated with your visit. As with any website, this is the information your browser sends with each request for a page or file, such as:

• Internet Protocol (IP) address, and the approximate country derived from it;
• browser type;
• device and operating system information;
• date and time of access;
• pages and files requested;
• the referring website or source, if your browser provides it; and
• other technical information ordinarily transmitted when accessing a website.

Netlify uses this information to deliver the website and to protect it from abuse and attacks, acting as our service provider (section 3). We can view recent request records in our hosting dashboard. We use them only to troubleshoot and secure the website, we do not export or keep copies of them, and we do not use them to identify you or to build a profile of you.

No cookies, analytics, or third-party content

The website does not set cookies or use similar technologies, such as browser storage. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or social media tools, and it does not embed content from other services. It does not load fonts, scripts, images, videos, or other content from third parties; our fonts and the recording behind the “Hear it” button are hosted with the website itself, and the recording is requested only when you press that button. If we ever change this, we will update this Privacy Policy before the change takes effect (section 12).

2How we use information

We use the information described above only to:

• operate, maintain, and secure our website;
• respond to inquiries and communications, and keep a record of our correspondence;
• detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or other harmful activity;
• protect our rights, property, users, and others;
• comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
• complete a business transaction described in section 3.

We do not use personal information for advertising or profiling, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

3How we disclose information

We disclose personal information only in the following ways.

Service providers

We use three service providers that handle personal information on our behalf: Netlify, Inc., which hosts and delivers the website; Google LLC, which provides our email through Google Workspace; and a mail-handling service provider, which receives postal mail sent to our business address and may scan it for us. Netlify and Google act as our service providers (data processors) under data processing terms that limit their use of the information to providing their services to us. Our mail-handling service provider handles that mail on our behalf under its service terms.

Legal and safety purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

• comply with applicable law or legal process;
• respond to lawful requests from government authorities;
• protect the rights, property, or safety of Qui Digital Labs, our users, or others;
• investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
• enforce agreements or protect legal rights.

Business transactions

If Qui Digital Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not give it to others for their own marketing.

4No sale or sharing of personal information

Qui Digital Labs does not sell personal information, whether for money or for anything else of value. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling.

If our data practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy before the change takes effect and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

5Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or “Do Not Track” signal. This website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, and we do not allow any third party to use it to collect personal information about your online activities over time or across other websites. The website therefore works the same way whether or not your browser sends these signals.

If our practices ever change, we will treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising.

6Third-party websites and products

Our website contains links to separate products developed or operated by Qui Digital Labs, such as EloSpeak’s website, elospeakapp.com, and it may contain links to websites, applications, products, or services operated by third parties.

A linked website or separate product may have its own privacy practices and policies. When you follow a link, the other website receives the information your browser sends to any website you visit, under that website’s own policy. For example, a Qui Digital Labs product may maintain a product-specific privacy policy describing the information collected and processed through that product.

We encourage you to review the applicable privacy policy before providing personal information to another website, application, or service.

7Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control. The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

However, email is not an end-to-end encrypted channel, and no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our company email addresses end in @quidigitallabs.com, and we will never ask you by email for a password or payment details. EloSpeak’s support writes from support@elospeakapp.com. If you receive a suspicious message that claims to come from us, please forward it to admin@quidigitallabs.com.

8Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

• Correspondence. We keep messages and letters, including scans of letters, only as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain appropriate business records, and then we delete or destroy them, unless we need to keep them longer to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect our rights. Our mail-handling service provider may keep its own records of the mail it receives for us under its own terms.
• Website request records. Our hosting dashboard shows only recent request records, and we do not export or keep copies of them. Our hosting provider keeps its own server logs for a limited period under its own retention schedule.

9Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you whether we hold personal information about you, and give you a copy of it;
• correct it; or
• delete it.

To submit a privacy-related request, email admin@quidigitallabs.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request, usually by asking you to reply from the email address concerned. We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why within that period, and we may take up to 45 more days. We do not charge for requests, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

If we decline a request, we will explain why. You can appeal by replying to our decision with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line, and we will answer in writing within 45 days. You may also contact your state attorney general or consumer protection agency; in New Jersey, that is the Division of Consumer Affairs.

10Children’s privacy

The Qui Digital Labs corporate website is a general-audience website and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, for example by email, please contact us at admin@quidigitallabs.com and we will delete it.

Individual products developed or operated by Qui Digital Labs may have different age requirements or privacy practices. EloSpeak, for example, is designed for people 13 and older and has its own privacy policy. Please review the privacy policy applicable to the specific product.

11International visitors

Qui Digital Labs is based in the United States. Our hosting provider delivers the website from servers in many countries, so a visit may be handled outside the country you are in.

If you access our website or write to us from outside the United States, information associated with your interaction may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions in which our service providers operate.

12Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our website, business, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices.

When we make changes, we will post the updated policy on this page, show the date it was posted as the “Last updated” date, and show the date it takes effect as the “Effective date.” If we make a material change, for example if we start using cookies or analytics, we will also post a notice on the website’s home page before the change takes effect. Earlier versions of this policy are available on request.
